"Ok here's what's going on... We are opening a clothing boutique in my hometown of Broken Bow. It's set to open February 8 with a grand opening on the 22nd. We have been preparing the building (painting, ordering carpet, getting curtains, etc), ordering clothes, and setting up the business licensing. It is so hard!!!! But exciting at the same time.
On the opposite spectrum we are opening a sandwich/coffee/soup shop where I was raised in Hochatown... It is a tourist destination because of the beautiful lake that texans and other travelers visit in the summer because of water sports and fishing... Plus we have a pretty decent river that fly fishermen come to. So the sandwich shop is being built from the ground up! We are looking for land right now, preparing the business plan so we can get a SBA loan, and fighting with my dad on how much to spend on the land! He has seen this place explode and is not too happy about the land prices around here, but that is inflation!
I would tell you to google the area but there really aren't any great websites to display what I'm talking about... We might run around taking pics soon to show our families in Oregon. The dogs are loving the open spaces! Jake and TJ keep chasing wild animals and getting lost!! We can't let Jake out anymore without his leash because as soon as he see's a rabbit he's gone!"
