Recuperation Station

This weekend was super long! But all is well and I did find the time to do some brainstorming for the wedding... Lying in bed, thermostat up (trying to immitate Houston weather), playoffs are on, and my fiance is by my side. Resting and relaxation is a great thing!

Traveling, no matter how short or how far, will require much more time than you ever actually allot for yourself. Most of the time is idle in the airport that you didn't take into account, and therefore probably left stuff behind that you could have been working on. Eventually, you begin to notice the frequent flyers by how zombie-esque they drone through the airports. They are the ones with the glaze in their eyes, never fully focusing or noticing what's around them, and often claim their place in space where ever they land. They are the business travelers and the frequent vacationers. Today I saw the first timer. He had never been on an airplane before.

I wonder about him. I wonder what he must have been thinking when that very very small plane attempted to leave the earth and stable itself among the rough winds. I begin to feel somewhat sorry for him because this particular ride was his first. And for the numerous times I've flown I would have to recount this flight as possibly one of my top 5 worst!

I'm rattling on now... I just wanted to share the few pictures I did take from this last trip. I promised Travis that I would take much more of Houston so that he could see it through my eyes. I failed. I had way too much going on and really nothing at all at the same time.
